International Day of Persons with Disabilities – On December 3, we join the world in celebrating the dignity and inclusion of persons with disabilities. In Ontario, 2.6 million people live with disabilities, each one a beloved child of God. Inspired by Pope Francis’ reminder that “we are all children of the one Father and enjoy the same dignity,” the Catholic Women’s League commits to breaking down barriers and fostering welcoming communities.
