Across Ontario, a simple spark of compassion is growing into a province‑wide movement of light and hope. Inspired by the Toronto Diocesan Council’s successful request to illuminate the CN Tower blue on February 22—the National Day of Awareness of Human Trafficking—CWL councils in Mississauga and Thunder Bay have stepped forward as well, securing blue lighting for the Mississauga City Hall Clock Tower, Thunder Bay City Hall, and the community fountain.
This rising wave of witness beautifully reflects our National Theme: Ignite Your Passion, Empower His Mission. Each council that brings blue light to its community is igniting passion for justice and empowering Christ’s mission of dignity, compassion, and hope.
We invite CWL councils across Ontario to join this growing tradition—not only this year, but every year—as we shine a united light for those who need it most.
