Month of May was considered mental health awareness. Taking care of ourselves should not be optional or assigned to one month in the calendar year, it should be every day, but sometimes it’s easy to forget.
According to CAHM 1 in 5 Canadians will be affected by mental health illness or disorder, recognize those triggers, reach out and if you see someone going through it, encourage them to get help and support them.
As we look towards coming out of this pandemic, let us pray “God bless all who are battling those inner demons of depression, loneliness, unworthiness and hopelessness”.
